It’s been an incredible few weeks for our travelling team, who have been driving around the South as part of our Magical Memories Tour. So far, we’ve spoken to almost 2000 people across 21 locations and we hope to speak to many more before our tour officially ends on Saturday 15th November.
We’ve had an overwhelming response to our colourful tent and collection of retro toys, which has been designed to take visitors back to their childhood and get them thinking about how they can help to change a child’s life through fostering.
Countless members of the public have tackled our giant Rubik’s cube (with varying degrees of success!) and plenty of passers-by have tucked into our delicious selection of sweets from yesteryear.
One recent visitor summed it up by saying, “I was fostered then adopted over 40 years ago and I always say to my children and grandchildren how lucky they are. Seeing you here today has brought memories flooding back. You are wonderful and I hope you can get a lot of interest as I know it made all the difference to my life.”
But our tour isn’t over yet! We still have three exciting events to come in Brighton and Wimborne over the next week. Check out our events calendar for more details.
