Our bright green car continued its tour of the South this week as we brought our tent of treats to Havant and Farnham.
On Tuesday 14th October, we set up shop outside Asda in the beautiful market town of Havant. We spread the word about fostering with locals as they popped into the store for their weekly shop and handed out a trolley-full of information including leaflets about same-sex fostering and supporting carer’s own children.
We received some brilliant feedback from visitors, with one shopper saying, “I hadn’t heard of FCA before. I always thought there were only local authorities. This is great to know!”
Once again, people enjoyed our colourful display of classic children’s toys and loved digging into our retro treats, with one passer-by saying, “The fruit salad sweets remind me of my childhood. I used to get them stuck in my teeth!”
Will you be in Basingstoke or Worthing this weekend? We’ll be visiting both towns as we continue our tour across the South.
Check out our events calendar to find out when we’ll be visiting a town near you.
