We descended on Churchill Square in the coastal city of Brighton yesterday for the eighth stop of our Magical Memories Tour. The poor weather didn’t stop our team as they battled the wind and rain to spread the word about fostering among the local population.
We were pleased to hand out leaflets on same-sex fostering and tackle some common fostering myths, with one visitor saying, “I really thought that being a lesbian couple would affect our chances of fostering as we are both so desperate to foster. Thank you so much for pointing us in the right direction.”
Our collection of retro memorabilia went down a storm too. One passer-by said, “I love the Rubik Cube. I never managed to master it, but I loved it as a child…cheers for bringing back the memory.”
