Children, young people, foster families and staff from across FCA came together in Nottingham this weekend for one of the most eagerly anticipated events in our calendar, The Big Sing Off!
Held every year, The Big Sing Off sees FCA regions from across the country form their own choirs and take to the stage in a fun-filled competition, all hoping to deliver a showstopping performance and be crowned the Big Sing Off winners.
This year, British Pop Music took centre stage, inspiring a fantastic array of performances and costumes as our regional choirs celebrated some of the sounds that have defined British music.
But The Big Sing Off is about much more than competing for the winning title. It’s a chance for our children and young people, foster families and staff to come together from across FCA, celebrate their creativity and enjoy a day packed with music, entertainment and activities.
From singing along to British pop favourites to catching up with familiar faces and making new friends, the event created plenty of opportunities to have fun and make special memories together.
A huge thank you goes to FCA North East, who hosted this year’s event and gave everyone such a warm welcome.
The day also helped to raise an incredible £515 through the event raffle for North East Sight Matters, a charity chosen by FCA North East.
Events like The Big Sing Off are a wonderful reminder of the community at the heart of FCA and the joy that comes from bringing everyone together. Thank you to all our performers, foster families, children, young people and staff who helped make this year’s event such a success.
