Lisa Husband Registered Manager

Welcome from Lisa Husband, Registered Manager

Hello I’m the registered manager in the North East and I am really looking forward to you joining us. FCA has very much welcomed me since joining last year and I can honestly say I am very proud of all my young people and foster parents who do amazing things every day! I have worked in fostering and adoption for over 25 years now and over 10 years in Management, it really is my passion. I am particularly interested in supporting families to care for sibling groups, I have seen over the years the massive difference keeping siblings together can make, to them now and in the future. In addition to this, we all know that having a secure, stable base is the building block for our young people to develop and thrive. So we have developed a system to ensure our children are all given the opportunity to stay long term, if this is in their plan. We have lots of other fostering opportunities for you to consider, such as parent and child, respite, unaccompanied asylum seekers or short term.

The support you will be offered in the North East will always be fantastic, we pride ourselves on going above and beyond in everything we do. We believe wholeheartedly, that our young people only get one childhood and it’s our responsibility to give them our absolute best.
