At FCA we aim to provide quality foster care which places the needs of the looked after child firmly at the centre of what we do. We have the highest regard for all our foster carers who play such a vital role in supporting and nurturing these children.
Children and young people looked after by FCA are encouraged to look forward to a bright future. We certainly ensure our foster families offer safe and secure home environments and above all each and every child is encouraged to fulfil their dreams and ambitions.
FCA now has over 80 offices across the UK providing local support services to foster carers and young people (August 2009)
There are currently over 2450 children and young people placed with over 2000 fostering families (August 2009)
59% of children and young people have been in placement with FCA for twelve months or more
