Welcome to the FCA Corporate About Us section.

These pages provide a background of information about FCA – our rise to becoming the UK’s leading Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) and the values that have remained at the heart of all operations since our formation in 1994.

And what better way to begin learning about Foster Care Associates than with our core value; our mission statement:

‘To provide quality care in a family setting.’

The focus of this statement is the ability to provide high quality, therapeutic support services for even the most ‘difficult to place’ looked after children and young people within a fostering family environment.

And through providing an extended network of professional support to the foster carer – making them ‘agents of change’ – we are delivering the very best outcomes for looked after children and young people.

We call this model of fostering Team Parenting™.
