Last year, from the Health and Social Care Trust, FCA had over 305 referrals of children and young people who desperately needed a foster carer to provide a safe, stable and caring home. Every year this number increases and so we urge anyone considering becoming a foster parent to contact us today.
Although a small region our wee office is full of personality and pride in the fact that we are helping ordinary people do extraordinary things.
As a non-profit agency and also the largest independent agency in Northern Ireland we are so different in so many ways and this makes us stand out from the crowd and attracts new carers to work with us and become part of our FCA NI family.
Fostering support in Northern Ireland
We have a great team of social workers, support, education and therapy teams who all offer a great amount of help and guidance alongside the administration, placements and assessments teams. We may all look different, have different personalities but one thing is certain, from the Regional Manager down, all staff have the same goal and that is to help those children and young people who are referred to us from the local Trusts, who may have complex needs and behaviours and who need our entire FCA family’s support.
Our office is situated on the Belmont Road in Belfast at the bottom end of a business park but don’t let this put you off popping in to see us, we are a bright and cheery bunch who consider all our carers and young people part of our FCA family and everyone is welcome.
