Welcome from Julia Willmott, Registered Manager
"FCA Western is an exciting new registration established in December 2022 covering the Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Swindon and Wiltshire areas. Our office is based at Aztec West in Bristol which is staffed every day and is centrally located for all foster carers. We also run local support groups for foster parents and activities for the young people in our care and their fostering family.
Although we are a smaller region this means we retain a personal family feel whilst being supported by the resources of an established company. We are a team of very experienced social workers and managers who have been with the company for several years. Nurturing positive relationships and supporting our carers and young people is at the heart of all we do. We greatly value the work of our foster parents and work in partnership with them. We are here for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a therapeutic agency supported by a team of therapists and our long-standing foster families offer peer support to new foster parents.
Western care for a variety of young people such as sanctuary seeking young people, sibling groups and older teenagers. As a region we are motivated and excited to make a real difference in the lives of the children we care for. It is a privilege for me to be the Registered Manager of the Western region and myself and the whole team offer a warm welcome to those who come and join the Western FCA family."
