Fostering in the South West

FCA South Western had over 620 referrals of children and young people from local authorities last year alone. This number is steadily rising each year which is why we are urging you to contact us today if you are considering becoming a foster carer.

We’re a close knit team here in the sunny South Western region, characterised by our down-to-earth staff and friendly approach to our work.

We’re a small regional team with a wealth of fostering experience. In fact, a high number of our staff have been with us for many years and we all share a passion for changing the lives of looked after children.

Fostering with FCA South Western

At FCA South Western, we do everything we can to ensure the very best outcomes for the children in our care. We specialise in providing high quality caring homes for children ranging from 0-18 and parent and child placements.

We believe that everyone involved in the care of a looked after child is part of the parenting process and has a shared responsibility for ensuring that the child’s needs are properly met.

Foster care training and support

That’s why we’re committed to offering our foster carers an excellent package of local training and support. From social workers and support workers to education workers and therapists, our team of professionals are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The South Western team and Carer Representatives look forward to welcoming you into our family.
