24/7 Fostering Support in Liverpool
In the Liverpool area, we pride ourselves as being a friendly and welcoming group of people, who strive to make a difference to children and families lives. With people who have been fostering with us for over 15 years, you won’t be a stranger for long here in the Liverpool office. Our carers have a great sense of humour, they’re kind, and will do anything to help you out.
As well as continued around the clock support from your regional team, we provide you with training to help develop your skills, including:
- Safe Guarding
- First Aid
- Child Exploitation
- Trauma & Bereavement
We understand that our carers need time to talk, discuss, and socialise with each other. That’s why we hold local support groups on a regular basis – to give you the time to reflect, share achievements and give advice. We find all of the above helps to build your support network with other foster carers in and around the region.
Have fun with FCA Liverpool
We have a designated support worker who organises a full programme of free activities for everyone. “Play and Talk” is just one of the activities we hold every Tuesday where you can get involved with cooking, making crafts or even just playing on games consoles. You can expect to attend days out to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Borwick Hall, Crocky Trail, Manly Mere and Treetops… don’t forget our parties and pantomimes too!
