Thames Valley Team BBQ
Archived: Posted September 12, 2014On Friday 1 August, Thames Valley held a picnic and BBQ day – Lesley Wheeler, Office Manager, tells us all about it:
“The weather was on our side and what a wonderful day Friday turned out to be, with lots of fun and laughter had by all.
Some staff did manage to get wet though as they were put in the stocks by the young people, whilst others danced the night away. This may have given us all sore feet and aching muscles, etc, but I hope for the sake of the carers and children it was worth it!
The homemade drinks were brilliant in our saloon bar courtesy of Richard Dixon. I can’t believe how many customers we had!
It was a real team effort and what a star team! Who would have thought we could do all this?! Quite honestly I think we could do anything after this…”
