FCA foster carer Julie Turner from North Wales organised a fundraising coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support.Generous staff and carers from our team in North Wales recently held a coffee morning at their Abergele office on North Business Park, to raise more than £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Organised by local foster carer Julie Turner (pictured), foster carers from all over North Wales, as well as staff from local businesses, attended the event to sample tasty sweet treats baked by the team which were sold and raffled off throughout the day.

Emma Davies, supervising social worker for FCA Cymru North, said: “Our carers and staff could certainly give the contestants on The Great British Bake Off a run for their money!

“The effort everyone put into the coffee morning was incredible, and as well as raising money for Macmillan it proved to be a great social event for all those involved with Foster Care Associates in the region. A massive thank you to all who were involved in making the day so successful.”
