Official Opening of Newcastle Office
Archived: Posted February 20, 2014Jim Cockburn and David Oldham cut the ribbon to mark the official opening of the Newcastle office during their recent visit to the North East.
Jim and David were warmly welcomed by Amanda Hartley, Fostering Service Manager, and a team of supervising social workers, administrators and CHYPPS workers, alongside an education officer and therapy worker. Together, the team look after foster carers from across the Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Northumberland, North Tyneside and South Tyneside areas.
With an ever-growing carer base, the North East’s newest office offers plenty of room for training and support meetings. Located just off the A1, it is also easily accessible for carers from across the region. In fact, visitors have already commented on how nice it is!
