Fostering In Thames Valley

Archived: Posted April 18, 2013

Core Assets Fostering - Thames ValleyThe number of foster carers needed this year in the UK currently reaches upwards of 9,000* so it’s no wonder there are recruitment campaigns and events going on across the country to attract potential foster carers who can offer a vulnerable child a safe and stable home.

In the Thames Valley region, we’ve got a number of events planned, inviting people who may be interested in fostering to come along and have an informal chat about what’s involved, ask any questions and talk with staff about their experiences of fostering, the types of fostering placements available and the kind of support and rewards we offer our carers.

In the Thames Valley region we need resilient carers to look after children of all ages (0-18 years) and who can manage complex children and young people, including sibling groups.

Anyone interested in learning more about fostering is very welcome to come to one of the events being held near them throughout April and May in the Thames Valley area.

So if you’ve ever thought about a career in fostering, why not come and find out a bit more about how to become a foster carer with us:
