Are you thinking of fostering in Western?
FCA is always looking to speak with people who are thinking of fostering in Western. We are particularly looking for people thinking of fostering in Somerset, fostering in Bristol, fostering in Gloucestershire and fostering in Wiltshire in order to meet the demand for fostering placements for looked after young people in the local area.
The need for foster carers in Western
As a foster carer with FCA, the types of foster care placement offered to you may include young people with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour. Some children may require a fostering placement where there are no other young children in the household.
We also want to hear from people who are interested in offering Parent and Child foster care placements to give parents and their children the best chance of staying together.
If you have previously fostered, have experience in working with children and young people with complex needs, or have relevant transferable skills then we want to hear from you. We ask that all our foster carers have at least one spare bedroom as well as the ability to make a full time commitment to fostering.
