Welcome to our page about fostering on the Isle of Wight. If you want to know a bit more about what fostering in the South is all about then keep reading.
FCA has become the UK’s largest Independent Fostering Agency and currently has more than 80 local offices (including this one on the Isle of Wight) which serve the surrounding local towns.
Keeping fostering support ‘local’ helps us to create a community and on-going support is what fostering with FCA is all about. We work at building better relationships between childcare professionals and foster carers so that support is given every step of the way to both the young people in care and the foster carers themselves.
Using Team Parenting® to get the best outcomes
Team Parenting® is a pioneering approach to foster care that involves additional services the people involved may need. Some of the services you will receive if you choose to foster on the Isle of Wight are;
• Therapist
• FCA assigned Social Worker
• Children and Young Persons Support Service (CYPSS) Worker
