South West Placements
Are you thinking of fostering in the South West?
FCA is always hoping to talk to potential foster carers across the South West for many different types of foster care placements.
Types of fostering placements in the South West
As a foster carer with FCA, the types of placement offered to you may include children and young people with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour and some children may require a fostering placement where there are no other young children in the household.
Some children and young people placed with us may be struggling with substance abuse and/or mental health problems and may need additional support to access relevant services.
Other fostering placements offered to you might be a group of two or more siblings, a parent and their child, or a child or young person with learning and/or physical disabilities.
Currently, we are also particularly looking for foster carers for children and young people who have previously been living in residential care and who would benefit from the chance to live as part of a family in a fully supported fostering placement.
Are you thinking of fostering in the South West?
If you have previously fostered, have experience in working with children and young people with complex needs, or have relevant transferable skills, please call us today on 0800 023 4561 or enquire online.
We do ask that anyone thinking of becoming a foster carer in the South West has at least one spare bedroom and is able to make a full time commitment to fostering.
