FCA is always hoping to speak with people who could become foster carers from many different regions and for all different types of foster care placements.
We are also currently experiencing specific shortages of foster carers in certain areas of the North West.
Fostering across the North West
FCA North West is currently experiencing a particular shortage of people who are interested in fostering in Manchester, fostering in Tameside and fostering in Liverpool, fostering in Blackburn and across Merseyside and Lancashire.
We need foster carers in the North West for children and young people who will often have complex needs and difficult behaviours. All FCA foster carers are offered the support of our multidisciplinary teams, based in FCA North West offices across the region.
Carers needed for intensive fostering placements
FCA is looking for carers from across the North West region who can provide intensive fostering for children and young people who have recently left residential care.
To support foster carers to provide successful intensive fostering placements, FCA provides a highly structured and individualised support package.
