Of all the Independent Foster Care Agencies across the country, FCA is the largest. We provide a comprehensive support service to our foster carers through a range of professional experts and additional facilities with the aim of giving children and young people in care with FCA the chance for positive and independent future despite any previous experiences they may have had.
The support services we provide
At FCA we use a unique approach to foster care called Team Parenting®. As part of this approach we provide a selection of support and guidance to the foster carer in the form of various professionals who specialise in childcare; a social worker, therapist, education officer and Children and Young Persons Support Service (CYPSS) worker.
This team of experts is available to help and guide the foster carer using a combination of organised activities, on-going local training, events and regular carer support groups to enable them to bring about better outcomes for the children and young people in their care.
