Our local office in Teesside serves the following areas in the North East and is one of a network of ‘local’ offices across the country for FCA; now the largest Independent Foster Agency in the UK. So if you live in the North East in any of the areas listed below, the Teesside office is your main office.

Team Parenting^® and what’s involved

The aim of fostering is always to enhance and improve the lives of the children and young people in care. Our unique approach to foster care can be summed up in a single term; Team Parenting^®. This involves providing support for children in care as well as to their foster carers and is delivered through the following range of services:

• Therapist
• FCA assigned social worker
• Education officer
• Children and Young Persons Support Service (CYPSS) worker

Not every foster carer and child in their care will need to use all the services available but by offering on-going and regular support tailored to individual needs and requirements it helps to build trust and a sense of community for everyone involved.
