FCA is recruiting foster carers for many different types of foster care placements across the Midlands to provide safe and stable homes for children and young people with complex needs.

Fostering across the Midlands

At FCA, we are always interested in talking to anyone thinking of fostering in the Midlands.

We are currently experiencing a particular shortage of people who are interested in fostering in Birmingham, fostering in Dudley, fostering in Nottingham and fostering across Staffordshire, in areas such as Lichfield and Stoke on Trent.

We need foster carers in the Midlands for children and young people with complex needs and difficult behaviours. All FCA foster carers are offered the support of our multidisciplinary teams, based in FCA Midlands offices across the region.

Short break carers needed in Birmingham

There is currently a specific requirement for Short Break foster carers in Birmingham. Short Break foster carers perform a vital role by providing regular short breaks for disabled children and young people.

Intensive fostering carers needed in the Midlands

FCA is looking for potential foster carers from across the Midlands to care for children and young people with a background in residential care through our intensive fostering placements.

To ensure the success of intensive fostering placements, provides a highly structured and individualised support package to each of our foster carers.
