As the largest independently run foster care agency in the UK, FCA now has around 80 local offices including the Staffordshire office based in Uttoxeter. This is also the main office regard to fostering in Stafford, fostering in Stoke-on-Trent and fostering in Uttoxeter.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer guidance, on-going local training and support to foster carers and the children and young people in their care.
Improving outcomes with Team Parenting®
Our unique approach to foster care is called Team Parenting® and it brings together the skills of various childcare professionals including;
Social Worker – dedicated to support the foster carer
Therapist – providing therapy services where required
Education Officer – supporting the carer with children’s educational needs
This network of support offers the foster carer a close working relationship aimed at gaining a positive outcome for children and young people.
