FCA sponsors achievement award in Peterborough
July 26, 2011
FCA is proud to have sponsored the Best Pupil (aged 4-10) award at an achievement ceremony at the Key Theatre in Peterborough.
The ceremony awarded winners and runners-up in 12 categories with certificates and trophies in support of their hard work in school.
Recognising outstanding achievement
The outstanding achievements of staff members and pupils were celebrated at the Evening Telegraph Awards on July 14th 2011, giving readers of the newspaper a chance to nominate extraordinary staff and students from schools in and around Peterborough.
The winner of FCA’s sponsored ‘Best Pupil’ award was Myles Todd from Alderman Jacobs Primary School. Myles was recognised for being a sociable and dedicated young man who works hard to overcome the challenges posed by his diagnoses of cystic fibrosis and autism.
FCA support for staff and students
Registered Manager for FCA Eastern, Greg DeSmidt, and Fostering Advisor, Hilary Huffman, both attended the ceremony in support of professionals and children and young people from Peterborough and the surrounding areas. Both members of the FCA Eastern team are already looking forward to next year’s event!
FCA would like to say a big ‘congratulations’ to Myles and runner-up, Mirae Unalkat, as well as all the hardworking children and staff from the Eastern region who are doing such a fantastic job.
