Meet the team
When you foster with FCA you are entitled to a support network which consists of a team of childcare professionals who work closely together to provide foster carers with the skills and support to encourage the children and young people in their care to achieve better outcomes.
Team Parenting® is a proven approach that combines the knowledge and skills of childcare professionals (an assigned FCA social worker, a therapist, an education officer and a Children and Young Persons Support Service (CYPSS) worker) with the many organised activities and events for foster carers and the children in their care to attend within their community.
Support through regular contact, on-going training, carer support group meetings and respite (paid) is also part of the Team Parenting® package that is provided for foster carers in Peterborough.
