Residential Migration carers needed in Essex
FCA is looking to talk to anyone thinking of fostering in Essex who could care for teenagers with complex needs and difficult behaviours, many of whom will have come from residential care.
We need foster carers who can provide a home to children or young people who have been in residential foster care placements and who we would like to place in a family environment.
Caring for a young person who has come from a residential unit will require a lot of dedication and resilience from the foster carer to manage those behaviours and complex needs already mentioned.
It is therefore preferable for intensive foster carers to have had previous experience of working with challenging behaviours/complex needs or with young people.
