National Recognition for Foster Care Agency
July 8, 2005
A south west foster care agency has received national recognition for its standards in practice.
Foster Care Associates Ltd with carers across Devon, Dorset and Cornwall has been commended by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) which deemed the agency to have exceeded the required standard across eight key areas of the business. In particular, it paid credit to the outstanding work of FCA education liaison officer, Jane Willis - describing her work as ‘passionate’.
FCA south west regional director, Dave Dungate commented: “This report is a reflection of the commitment and hard work of both the carers and staff at FCA. To have exceeded those exacting standards set out by the CSCI is a credit to everyone involved.”
Part of the UK’s leading independent foster care agency, FCA south west operates offices in Plymouth, Cullompton and Bodmin. It aims to provide stable and caring home environments for young people and children in care, who sometimes display challenging behaviour.
The agency offers its carers a comprehensive package of training and support and is continually seeking to recruit new foster carers. Anyone interested should contact Joyce Enderby on 01752 254554, or, register their interest via our online form.
