FCA Races into Foster Care Fortnight

Foster Care Associates Cymru (FCA) is set to race into Foster Care Fortnight by taking part in ‘Race for Life’. The event takes place this Sunday 8 May at 1.30pm.

Setting off from the Arena on the central promenade in Rhyll, a line up of lovely ladies from FCA will run the five km in order to raise money for Cancer Research.

Emma Davies, FCA placement officer for the Cymru region, comments; “We have been in training over the past few months so that we can all complete the Race for Life. This is such an important cause, we want to raise as much money as possible and I’m sure we’ll have a great day.”

Foster Care Fortnight begins on May 5, with the regional offices of FCA organising a variety of events in order to raise awareness of fostering and in the hope of recruiting more carers.
