Foster Care Agency Sets up in Wendover

The Thames Valley region of Foster Care Associates (FCA) has set up offices in Wendover.

A ribbon cutting ceremony marked the occasion on Tuesday October 19, as Deputy Mayor of Aylesbury, Terry Sherwin officially opened the new premises at Hale Court, Hale Road.

Co-founders of FCA Jim Cockburn and Jan Rees joined staff in celebrating the occasion, which also marked the company's 10th anniversary.

Prior to moving to Wendover, FCA Thames Valley region was based at Stanmore, North London. The move provides a central location to better service the wide catchment area which FCA Thames Valley takes in.

Deborah Waters, Thames Valley regional director commented: "I am extremely pleased with the new premises for this region and I am sure our staff will continue to do a fantastic job in placing nearby children with local foster families."
