Local Foster Care Agency Receives Outstanding Recognition From Ofsted | FCA News

A leading foster care agency with regional headquarters in Bristol has received national recognition for its ‘outstanding’ standards in practice.

Foster Care Associates (FCA) Western region was inspected and judged by Ofsted. The inspector found that the service provision delivered by the agency was of exceptionally high quality. This statutory inspection included all National Minimum Standards across six key areas of operation.

FCA Western was found to be outstanding for its effective and focussed management of service as well as its ability to deliver the five outcomes of the Every Child Matters Government agenda for England’s children, which includes: helping children to be healthy, protecting children from harm or neglect and helping them stay safe, helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do, helping children make a positive contribution, and helping children in achieving economic wellbeing.

“We are once again thrilled to have met the exacting standards set out by Ofsted. This level of recognition places FCA firmly on the map and reinforces our commitment to delivering a quality foster care service,” commented Nasareen Hobbs-Ahmed, FCA Western regional operational director.
