Lenny Henry pays tribute to FCA foster carer

Congratulations to Lorina Mayne, a fostering in London and Kent with FCA, who came under the spotlight when she appeared on Channel 4's Five O Clock Show on Tuesday 22 June.

Unbeknown to Lorina she was presented with a surprise from Show host, Lenny Henry who not only praised her work as a foster carer - having fostered for 30 years and looked after over 80 children - he also informed her that Channel 4 would be sending her on a 10 day cruise, to mark her fantastic achievement.

"Lorina has been a foster carer with FCA for 10 years, during which time she has demonstrated an enormous commitment to her role and we are especially proud of her and the work she continues to deliver on behalf of FCA. A well deserved reward and, a very exciting project for everyone involved," said Sherile Mitcham, London & Kent regional manager.
