North West Walk for Sport Relief

Staff and carers from the Carnforth Office took up the challenge to raise money for Sport Relief on Thursday evening by walking two miles along Morcambe promenade. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour but this did not dampen our spirits! Even one of the greatest comedians of our time, Eric Morcambe, could not ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ as we posed for pictures by his statue on the promenade.

We had a laugh though, and have raised £130 so far and hopefully more once we have collected the remaining sponsorship money.

Thank you and well done to all those who got into the spirit of things and took part, swelling our charity coffers and helping bring some sunshine to others less fortunate than ourselves.
