February 15, 2010

FCA Gloucester has raised a generous £145.80 for the Help for Heroes campaign.

The team held a coffee morning on Wednesday 9th December 2009, raising money through selling a selection of homemade cakes contributed by staff, drinks, and a prize draw.

The event was organised by Deborah Hathaway, Senior Administrator at FCA Gloucester, who explains: “The event was attended by over 40 people including staff, foster carers and local companies. It was a great success and enabled us to proudly contribute to this very worthwhile cause.”

Help for Heroes was launched in October 2007. The organisation serves to raise money to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country. Over £40 million pounds has been raised so far, which enables Help for Heroes to buy much needed services.
