Fostering in the Black Country

Welcome to our fostering page for the Black Country. Our regional office is based in Dudley and provides a full range of support services for the wider areas of Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

Our Dudley office is one of a network of over 60 local offices across the UK that provide a diverse range of expertise to children and young people in care and the foster carers who look after them.

Support services in the Black Country

We aim to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people living in foster care. That’s why we provide our carers with extensive support from a team of local professionals. We call this our Team Parenting® approach and you’ll benefit from a dedicated supervising social worker and, depending on the individual needs of the child in your care, support from childcare experts such as:

  • A therapist
  • An education officer
  • A children and young person’s support service worker
