Richard Brandford, from FCA Western, explains the vital role that local offices play in our Team Parenting™ model of fostering: “Right from its inception, FCA has been about a multi disciplinary approach to working with children and young people. At its core, FCA’s Team Parenting™ is about valuing the foster carer as the agents of change and respecting the carer as the crucial person in the network, whose detailed knowledge and understanding of the young person can be the route for successful delivery of stable foster placement for young people in the care system care.
