Omar Ali

Omar is a part of our Administration team at FCA Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. He studied Law at University, and worked as a Client Relations officer in the Legal Executive and Case Management sectors before joining FCA in 2009.

As a Senior Administrator for FCA, Omar’s responsibilities are varied and challenging. As well as managing the office and distributing information throughout the team, he is the first point of contact for many clients and third parties. He is responsible for providing information and dealing with queries, leaving people with a positive feel for the organisation and what we do.

Gender in the workplace

Of all the strands of diversity in the workplace, Omar identifies most strongly with gender;

“My experiences thus far facilitate my belief that FCA, as a part of the Core Assets Group, has a successful policy on diversity and gender issues. Although the Administration team is predominantly female, I have never felt out of place even though I have not worked within Administration before.

“My colleagues and managers have always placed emphasis on my ability and personality as a team member and employee, rather than my gender or background. I thoroughly enjoy working at FCA. I appreciate the work we do and the effect it has on children and young people. I would certainly recommend FCA as a place to work.”
