Support Services
Support is at the heart of all FCA initiatives. In fact, our Team Parenting™ model of foster care – which has a proven track record in delivering successful outcomes for looked after children and young people – has been developed on the foundations of delivering support to the foster carer and the looked after children.
We offer intensive support to our foster carers, children, young people and their families through an extensive network of locally based resources and multi-disciplinary teams of child care professionals.
The development of our range of support services is based on the agency’s belief that if appropriate packages of support are available to foster carers, then children and young people who would otherwise be unable to live within a family environment are able to do so.
