Leaving Care

FCA is aware that all young people when faced with the challenge of living independently need to be prepared, supported and encouraged throughout this time. FCA offers:

Supportive Lodging Scheme: The provision of host households that can provide a safe and caring environment coupled with practical and emotional support.

After Care Support: This is a cost effective service that assists Local Authorities/Trusts to comply with the requirements to provide ‘appropriate support’ and ‘keep in touch’.

Assessment and Pathway Planning: FCA can undertake Assessment of Needs for young people preparing to leave care and also assist Local Authorities/Trusts in the preparation work for pathway planning.
