FCA’s management structure is robust and the remuneration of its’ executive directors is commensurate with the responsibility and accountability of a business employing over 1500 staff. FCA specialises in providing quality placements for children and young people who often display challenging behaviour. The average age of a child placed with FCA is 12 years old. FCA aims to ensure positive outcomes for all its’ looked after children and young people. To this end, all FCA staff and foster carers are trained and qualified to the highest standards.
FCA charges in the region of £800 per child per week – in line with other independent foster care agencies. 47% of this fee goes directly to its’ foster carer, the remaining charge is apportioned to cover the following services:
•24-hour support from qualified social workers.
•Support workers.
•Qualified therapists and education liaison officers.
•Administrative support through local offices.
The company remains proud of its commendations from industry inspectorates and will continue to forge successful public-private partnerships with Local Authorities. It aims to continually add to the pool of foster carers across the UK to off-set the shortage of 10,000. Currently FCA has over 1500 foster families looking after over 2000 children and young people.
