Form F Assessors
FCA requires independent, BAAF Form F Assessors, working on a self-employed basis, to undertake competency based Form F Assessments on prospective foster carers.
Form F Assessor applicant credentials
Applicants must have a Social Work qualification, have prior experience of professional report writing, be registered with their country's applicable social work council, have transport, relevant insurances and be willing to travel. Statutory and company checks will be undertaken.
FCA offers a competitive and professional fee per assessment and travelling expenses. All independent Form F Assessors are provided with consultation and practice development.
FCA Form F Assessors are required in specific regions throughout the UK.
We have an enhanced requirement for Form F Assessors who reside in the following areas:
- Kent (Medway, Dartford, Orpington, Gravesend, Rochester, Stroud, Gillingham and Faversham)
- Scotland (Fife, Perth and Aberdeen)
- Thames Valley (Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire)
- Yorkshire & Lincolnshire
- North Wales
- East Midlands
- West Midlands
- East Anglia (Peterborough and north of Norwich)
- East Berkshire
- Eastern (Norfolk and Cambridgeshire)
- Essex
- London
- South West (Bodmin, St Austell and Truro)
- Western (Bristol, Gloucester, Somerset, Wiltshire)
** Please note that Form F Assessors in the North East require a minimum of 2-3 years' post-qualification social work experience.
** Due to an unusually high number of applications FCA is not currently hiring Form F Assessors in the North West of England.
