FCA is committed to supporting foster carers to receive formal recognition of their skills, knowledge and experience. Many of our carers have already achieved or are working towards the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People). Carers are encouraged and supported to do so through locally-based course programmes organised by Outcomes UK.
